'Session 1 Reflection'
How has the last 18 months in the Concordia Graduate Program impacted your work as an educator?
Made me appreciate various perspectives in my school; administrative, teacher, student, and parent.
I have learned to appreciate and seek out literature focused on leadership and education.
Met a lot of great educators in the area and met a lot of influencial administrators.
How have you grown personally and professionally?
I have learned to balance my time better between class, work, and family.
I have become more confident in my leadership skills at my school and have taken more responsibility at my school.
I believe I understand problems facing schools on a larger scale and have become aware of different problems facing other districts.
What are 3 major criticisms from the Concordia Graduate Program?
Lack of organization
Hard to get questions answered
Variation between online class and in-person class
What do you hope to get from this class?
To gain the experience to become a great administrator
To network with other future administrators and current administrators
To learn new skills to help me in my future career in education
